Course Overview

The Barista Training course at Didi Vocational Centre offers students the opportunity to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, with 70% of the course focused on hands-on practice. The course runs for 15 days, with 3 hours of training per day. Our approach ensures that each student receives personalised attention, as the course caters to a small group of individuals, allowing for more focused learning and skill development.

• Roasting and Blending: Understand the processes of roasting and blending, and how they affect the taste, aroma, and quality of coffee.
• Espresso Equipment: Get hands-on experience with professional espresso equipment, like our Italian Wega Barista Machine.
• Extracting Perfect Espresso: Master the technique of pulling a perfect shot of espresso—fundamental to any coffee-based beverage.
• The Art of Steaming and Foaming Milk: Learn the techniques for steaming milk to perfection and creating velvety foam for cappuccinos, lattes, and other specialty drinks.
• Cleaning, Safety & Maintenance: Understand the importance of keeping equipment clean and well-maintained to ensure high-quality coffee and a safe working environment.
