A Success Story of Sustainable Development

Founded in 2011 by Jan Pryor, the Bright Future Learning Centre provided love, education, and life skills for vulnerable children in Nepal. Despite challenges, including the pandemic, the children have flourished, pursuing careers in engineering, veterinary science, and aviation. Thanks to our generous supporters, they continue to thrive and inspire change in their communities.

Sunkoshi Community Hospital

Empowering Communities through Health

This hospital in Khurkot eastern Nepal services remote mountain regions. We have provided vital medical equipment and through Rotary grants, we have implemented a new dental clinic, maternity ward and emergency theatre  upgrade and ran a two-day very successful emergency obstetrics program strengthened staff capacity to manage critical maternal and neonatal emergencies.

The 2015 Nepal earthquake reshaped our charity overnight. Despite personal losses, the Didi Nepal team delivered vital aid, including food, shelter, and medical care. Thanks to our generous donors, we continue to support recovery through housing, clean water, education, and care for those still in need.

Secret Women’s Program

Empowering Women through Menstrual Health

The Secret Women’s Program employs sewing graduates to produce washable sanitary kits for women and girls in need. These kits, combined with hygiene education, promote health, dignity, and equality while challenging menstrual stigma. Thanks to our supporters, the program continues to empower women and create lasting change in Nepal.
