Didi Foundation Nepal needs you. Finish off all those years of study with your buddies and in November do something where you can feel like you are making a huge difference.

Why not head off to Nepal and the Himalayas where you as one person will change the life of someone or a community. Didi Foundation Nepal offers you opportunities to bring rays of sunshine into the lives of disadvantaged adults and children.

Your humanitarian aid experience

  • Live with a local family who will really look after you
  • Work in a school helping students practice English
  • Help run computer classes
  • Teach music, art and/or craft
  • Play sport, teach how to play games like Scrabble
  • Fine motor skill development with colouring-in
  • General maintenance and gardening
  • We like to utilise your skills because you can offer something



Your Schoolies Tour to Nepal will include:

  • Travel to Kathmandu in a chaperoned group
  • Experience true Nepali life by living with a gorgeous family
  • Learn the basics about Nepali culture and language
  • Go sight-seeing in Kathmandu
  • Hang at Didi Headquarters in Kathmandu and do fun basic English skills
  • Jump in the Didi Mobeel and head off at dawn to our remote Outreach Programs
  • Spend time at the remote Ramechhap school doing art and craft
  • Have a meal with a local family in their village
  • Spend a few days in Eastern Nepal visiting the Deaf Boarding School where you will be a real asset in working with these students. Do art and craft, lots of sport and general maintenance. Why not run a disco. We are sure you will come up with some fantabulous ideas to bring a sparkle to the eyes of these children
  • Back in the Didi Mobeel we head south for some fun R&R and visit Chitwan National Park for a safari
  • Then its up to Pokhara for coffee and ice cream and see the sun rise over the Annapurna mountain range
  • We get back to Kathmandu with just enough time to buy some gifts and head back home
